Registration and payment are required to confirm any booking. Registration and payment are completed online with a credit or debit card. We’re also happy to help you in person at our Facility at 259 Front St in Lincoln, RI where we do accept cash.

Refunds/Cancellations:

Once a service has been scheduled, there are NO REFUNDS. Please consider your schedule carefully before registering. This policy is to ensure that our limited availability is open for serious inquiries and those ready to commit to training.

Rescheduling:

We allow one reschedule in each semester. This is reserved for emergencies and should only be used if absolutely needed. This can apply to either School Sessions or a Group Transfer Session. If you need to reschedule further sessions, you may purchase a single School Session or a Single Group Transfer Session.

Animal Welfare & Conflicting Training Methods:

For the Love of Dogs does not condone the use of physical punishment or intimidation of dogs by our staff or clients, (including, but not limited to, the use of: prong collars, choke chains, shock collars, and other physical corrections). Clients who continue to exhibit this behavior will be dismissed from training. NO REFUNDS are issued for dismissal due to violating our animal welfare policy.

Safety Policy:

For the Love of Dogs requires all clients to comply with any safety measures deemed appropriate by their trainer, including but not limited to: physical barriers, leashes, and muzzling. Clients who fail to comply accept all liability and will be dismissed from training. NO REFUNDS are issued for dismissal due to violating our safety policy.

Dismissal:

Dismissals occur when training, management, safety, and animal welfare recommendations by the trainer are repeatedly ignored. For the Love of Dogs also reserves the right to dismiss any client that makes their staff feel unsafe in any way. NO REFUNDS are issued for dismissals.

Pictures, Video, and Media:

We love seeing our clients succeed, and sharing those success stories on our website and social media accounts! Clickstart Dog Training Academy reserves the right to take video and photographs of clients, their dogs, and their families during class unless notified otherwise in writing by the client.

Guarantees

Due to the nature of dogs and behavior being unpredictable, we are unable to make any guarantees for specific results. The amount of progress that is made is the responsibility of the client and their commitment to following the guidance of their Trainer during and after the Group Transfer Sessions.

We encourage clients to be open with their trainer about the success or challenges they are having at any given moment. The trainer will get back to the client during business hours to help troubleshoot their challenges.
Your training plan will be customized to your needs and goals however, additional lessons may be needed depending on the progress being made. The trainer will be open and honest about any additional training that would be needed to reach the client’s training goals.

Liabilities

1. I have been told by For the Love of Dogs and understand the inherent risks of owning a dog, including, but not limited to, the risk of dog bites to myself and others.

Consequently, I understand and agree that I am and will remain responsibly for the actions f my dog at all times and agree to indemnify and hold harmless For the Love of Dogs from any and all claims of injury, expense, damages, or costs caused by my dog.

For the Love of Dogs endeavors to create as safe an environment as possible the training of my dog and offers only sound, safe, and responsible training and training instructions. To the extent that For the Love of Dogs is insured for any negligent or unintentional errors, omissions, or incorrect assertions, I agree that For the Love of Dogs' liability will be limited to the extent of such insurance only. I understand that the recommendation of any product or service is not a guarantee of my satisfaction with that product or service.

2. I understand that For the Love of Dogs will work directly with me and my pet to impart contemporary animal behavior knowledge that best fits our needs and that successful companion pet programs depend on a combination of learned skills on the part of the pet and the owner.

Behavior is not static; an animal will not continue to perform even trained behaviors without ongoing practice. Especially in cases involving any type of aggression or fear, while the behavior may be modified, the dog is never considered "cured." A pet's behavior is ultimately the owner's responsibility.

For the Love of Dogs will make every reasonable effort to help us attain goals but makes no guarantees of performance on the part of the Client or pet as a result of providing professional animal behavior consultation and training.
